Briefing: The victorious commissar leads his men on foot, fueled by the maddened ranting of the Preacher, in pursuit of the retreating Space Marine task force, only to crest a hilly outcropping drenched in blood and flaming wreckage strewn about the marshy wetlands common to this cesspool of a planet. Contrails hang over the evening sky indicating recent aircraft in the area. and the humming of high-tech engines alludes that something may still remain in this forsaken place. Have his forces arrived too late or too soon?
Astra Militarum objectives: Expose enemy (already done, see above) presence, eradicate threats to the planet by recovering key elements of field debris for research

Returning once more to the debris-strewn battlefield, the Wych coven was not prepared for the sheer numbers of a planetary defense force gone rogue. The previous opiates having now run their course, the Succubus looked to her raiding party once more and dispensed Hypex, a form of "speed" recovered from the Underhives. Re-invigorated, the wyches lunged wrecklessly head-first into battle, only to be met with volleys of searing laser-fire. In moments, Exhilarated by bloodlust, cleaving the head clean off a guard sergeant, the Succubus suddenly found herself the sole survivor. Deftly retreating towards the remaining raider ships, slowed by las-burns throughout her torso, flesh laid bare, her limp body clinging to a raider, she was able to disappear into the night.
Unphased and unfettered, the Commissar's rag-tag forces were now nearing their objective, a mysterious artifact, whereabouts known only to the increasingly maddened priest, who's faith he was now beginning to question.
Imperial guard victory: 5 points awarded, 1 point to Harlequins.
